We, Frauke and me, Nikolaus spent ten days in Scotland in august 2000. Ten days for Scotland is much to short, nevertheless we enjoyed it very much. We took the ferry from Amsterdam to Newcastle. Using the car made us able to reach some remote points unreachable by public transports. Thanks to the hospitality of some our friends, we could have a small view on Scottish life.
